Jordan records 15 deaths and 811 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 15 deaths and 811 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 795,161.

The death toll has risen to 10,383.

The cases are:

-400 in Amman

-94 in Zarqa

-57 in Irbid

-48 in Tafilah

-32 in Balqa

-32 in Jerash

-28 in Aqaba

-23 in Karak

-23 in Ma'an

-23 in Mafraq

-21 in Ajloun

-16 in Petra

-14 in Madaba

A total of 75 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 64 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 611 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 11,713 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 28,008 PCR tests were conducted.

Sunday, 2.90 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.21 percent Saturday.
