Jordan records 812 new coronavirus cases, 18 deaths
Jordan recorded 18 deaths and 812 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 792,278.
The death toll has risen to 10,338.
The cases are:
- 377 in Amman
- 126 in Zarqa
- 88 in Irbid
- 54 in Tafilah
- 23 in Balqa
- 25 in Madaba
- 19 in Mafraq
- 15 in Karak
- 12 in Jerash
- 17 in Ma'an
- 18 in Ajloun
- 25 in Aqaba
- Four in Ramtha
- Nine in Petra
A total of 86 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 64 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are 612 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
There are a total of 12,748 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 29,285 PCR tests were conducted.
Wednesday, 2.77 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.27 percent Tuesday.
2,822,246 people have been fully vaccinated.
