5.8 magnitude earthquake strikes Indonesia's Mentawai Islands

03-08-2021 10:26|An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale hit Indonesia's Mentawai Islands Tuesday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The Indonesian News Agency (Antara) quoted the EMSC as saying that the earthquake struck at a depth of 40 km.
No injuries were reported following the earthquake.
