Some 30 men are taking part in the 455th edition of the Old Bridge Diving competition in Mostar, in Bosnia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This prestigious Balkan competition was won this year by Serbian Dragan Milnovic, who won the "swallow" discipline, which consists of diving head down from the arch some 26 meters above the Neretva River.

"I didn't expect to win at all. I am still under the impression. Everything went well, nobody got hurt. That's the most important thing. Everyone was good. I made those two best high dives. The jury decided I won. And now, with God's help, I am the winner. I dedicate this title to my city, Uzice," said Milnovic.

Lorens Listo, a multiple winner of the competition said, "Jumping from the Old Bridge one day was always the dream of all of us. We used to swim here in the Nerertva and start high diving from smaller heights, one meter, then two, three, five. As the children grow up, they compete with each other. The Old Bridge is everyone's goal, but some find the courage to go for it, others do not."
