Head of PSD talks law enforcement, crime-fighting with UAE ambassador

The Director of Public Security, Major General Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, met, on Sunday, the Emirati ambassador to the Kingdom, Ahmed Ali Al-Balushi, and his accompanying delegation.

The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in a way that contributes to the development of law enforcement and crime-fighting agencies in the two brotherly countries.

During the meeting, Major General Al-Hawatmeh stressed the good relationship that unites the two public security agencies in the two countries, which comes as an extension of the depth of the brotherly relationship that unites the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates.

Al-Hawatmeh stressed the keenness of the Public Security Directorate to enhance joint Arab cooperation and coordination, and to open new horizons for this fruitful cooperation, which would allow access to the best security and police experiences, pointing out that the Public Security Directorate gives all its expertise before the Arab brothers.

In turn, the Emirati ambassador praised the good reputation enjoyed by the Jordanian Public Security Directorate at the local and international levels.

Al Balushi stressed the importance of communication and coordination between the security services of the two brotherly countries in the service of citizens, pointing to the historical relationship that unites the leaderships of the two countries and the Jordanian and Emirati peoples.
