Jordan records nine deaths and 675 new coronavirus cases

18-07-2021 17:09|Jordan recorded nine deaths and 675 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 761,225.
The death toll has risen to 9,896.
The cases are:
-341 in Amman
-131 in Zarqa
-65 in Irbid
-28 in Jerash
-25 in Ajloun
-21 in Tafilah
-20 in Balqa
-12 in Aqaba
-12 in Mafraq
-10 in Karak
-Seven in Madaba
-Three in Ramtha
A total of 68 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 61 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 8,033 active COVID-19 cases.
There are 504 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 17,348 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,228,212.
Sunday, 3.89 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.38 percent on Saturday.
