Jordan records 12 deaths and 601 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 12 deaths and 601 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 758,291.

The death toll has risen to 9,855.

The cases are:

-337 in Amman

-94 in Zarqa

-41 in Irbid

-33 in Jerash

-19 in Karak

-12 in Balqa

-12 in Mafraq

-12 in Ajloun

-11 in Madaba

-Nine in Ma'an

-Eight in Tafilah

-Seven in Aqaba

-Six in Ramtha

A total of 68 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 60 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,405 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 485 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 20,371 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,125,711.

Tuesday, 2.95 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.72 percent on Monday.
