One of the relatives of the four dead children, including three brothers and a sister, who drowned in the Karameh Dam revealed new details of the tragedy.

During Roya's Nabd Al-Balad program, the relative said that at around 12pm, the four children went missing.

After searching for the children, three out of the four siblings were found and taken to the hospital, where they later died.

Out of pure shock from the incident, it was only after the three boys were transferred to the hospital, did the parents realized that the older sister was still missing, said the relative.

Divers searched for her within the dam and found her body in the water soon after.

The relative indicated that the father of the deceased children is only aware of the death of one child until this moment.

He stressed that the Karameh Dam does not have any kind of protection or fencing around it,  noting there is no "benefit from [the dam] except to take lives."
