Wednesday, the Palestinian activist, Muna El-Kurd graduated from Birzeit University with a degree in Media.

During the ceremony, Kurd gave a speech in which she said "Today, we want to receive our certificates, which are not just a piece of paper... it is a solution through which we defend our land."

During the ceremony, the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees Hanna Nasser paid tribute to the martyrs of Birzeit University, the last of whom was the martyr student Fadi Wahha.
