What is the truth about the haunted 'jinn and ghost' house in Irbid?

Years ago, many stories spread about the presence of "jinn and ghosts" in a house in Irbid.

Although nearly 30 years have passed since the owners of the house abandoned it, there are still conversations about this house.

Roya visited the area and met the residents next to the house, where they denied what was being reported about the presence of “ghosts or jinns” in the house.

One of them, Hani Al-Zubaidi, told the story of the house to Roya and said that the two houses were inhabited by two brothers with children, and a death occurred in one of the houses.

"The children had mental health issues, and one of them killed himself inside the house in the nineties," explained Hani.

After that, rumors were spread about the house being haunted and "full of crazy people," said Hani.

He said people began coming to the house to throw rocks and vandalize the property while the family were home, which prompted them to abandon the house.

People kept coming to vandalize and destroy the abandoned house, which caused the neighboring brother to build protective walls, however, the assaults on the property proved to be overwhelming, as the brother also ended up moving from his home.

"Now there are rumors of haunting... but this is not true," said Hani.

He said security services regularly report to the property to put out fires... but Hani did not mention what caused the fires.

Another neighboring resident said there were rumors of murders in the home, but claimed he never heard or saw any incident take place.
