The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the firefighting teams in the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD), were able to put out a fire that broke out in several commercial shops in the Downtown area in Amman Wednesday. 

The fire resulted in material damage only.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
