42 percent of Jordanians are 'unhappy': CSS

The Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the University of Jordan said that the majority of Jordanians do not believe that Jordan is a happy society.

The CSS announced that around 42 percent of Jordanians describe themselves as ‘unhappy.’

Additionally, the CSS revealed that 28 percent of Jordanians believe that the economic situation is the most important factor that can make a person feel happy.

March 19, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network released the World Happiness Report 2021, and Finland topped the chart as the happiest country in the world, followed by Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland and the Netherlands.

Jordan ranked 127 out of 149 countries in the list of UN World Happiness Report 2021.

In 2020, Jordan ranked 119th.
