Blood donation campaign for Gaza begins in Irbid
Thursday, voluntary associations in the governorate of Irbid launched a campaign to donate blood to hospitals in Gaza.
This came following the Israeli Occupation aggression in Gaza.
In statements to Roya, the laboratory technician at the blood bank, Khaldoun Shatnawi, said that the number of donors has reached around 220 and that the number of blood units in the next two days is expected to reach 500.
He pointed out that the necessary tests will be conducted to make sure that the blood units are safe and then send them to hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
Another doctor told Roya that the blood donation campaign came within the framework of the continuous support provided by the people of the governorate to their brothers in the Gaza Strip, indicating that this campaign shows that Jordanians and Palestinians are one.
