Egyptian media reported Sunday that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi had issued directives to open Egyptian hospitals to receive the wounded and injured from the Gaza Strip.

Friday, Egyptian authorities announced that the country has opened its border with Gaza- the Rafah crossing- to assist in treating Gaza's wounded citizens.
