Member of Parliament, Dr. Khairallah Abu Sa'ailik, Friday spoke about confronting the coronavirus pandemic in Jordan, a year after the start of the battle against the epidemic.

MP Abu Sa'ilik revealed, in statements to Roya, preventative measures that he said the government would take before the holy month of Ramadan, without revealing their details.

Abu Sa'ilek confirmed that large economic sectors are still suffering from the effects of the pandemic, indicating that the previous and current government procedures were not sufficient.

Abu Sayilik said, "The return of the comprehensive ban directly and negatively affects various sectors of the state."

Abu Sayilik called on the government to find space to cover the costs of an urgent package of measures that enhance the economic security of citizens affected by the effects of the pandemic.

Abu Sailek said that it is unreasonable to turn a blind eye to the failure of a large number of citizens to fulfill their obligations, rent allowances, electricity bills, bank installments, property tax and fines, as if nothing has happened.
