Groom, father arrested following defense order violations in Jerash

The Governor of Jerash Firas Abu Qaoud said Thursday that a groom and his father have been arrested for violating defense orders in Jerash.

They did not abide by the required health and safety measures and held a wedding that exceeded the permissible limit based on defense orders, which stipulate that gatherings should not exceed 20

The governor called on citizens to adhere to all public health restrictions which include wearing face masks, social distancing and avoid gatherings.
