The Jordanian military said Thursday they intercepted and shot down twenty missiles launched from Iran toward the Azraq area in Zarqa Governorate.
No casualties or material damage occurred, according to the statement.
It added that its engineering teams handled the missiles debris to ensure they contained no unexploded materials.
The Jordanian Armed Forces “reaffirmed that it will not allow any violation of Jordanian airspace by any party,” the statement concluded.
