Jordan records 10 deaths and 1,483 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 10 deaths and 1,483 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 338,322.

The death toll has risen to 4,395.

The cases are:

-983 in Amman

-152 in Irbid, including nine in Ramtha

-101 in Balqa

-37 in Jerash

-27 in Madaba

-21 in Karak

-13 in Ajloun

-65 in Zarqa

-37 in Mafraq

-27 in Aqaba

-20 in Tafilah

A total of 85 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 61 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 11,779 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 870 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 322,148.

There are 523 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 24,854 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,077,648.

Tuesday, 5.97 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
