On 22nd anniversary, Jordan recalls memory of His late Majesty King Hussein bin Talal
Sunday, the Royal Hashemite Court and the Kingdom recalled the 22nd anniversary of the passing of His late Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, and the pledge of allegiance to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, who assumed his constitutional powers on this day in 1999.
On Twitter, the royal court said, “On this day, we recall the nation-building march led by His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, may God rest his soul, and we confirm that we are moving forward in the march of reinforcement behind the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect him, and Jordan inaugurates its second centenary with determination and confidence. "

His Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II wrote on Instagram: “On this day, my grandfather, Al Hussein, passed away leaving behind a legacy that we are committed to preserving, as we continue to build on achievements, under the leadership of His Majesty and with his vision."
