At least three injured, two missing as result of explosion in Bordeaux

Media reported that at least three people were injured and two others are still missing, as a result of an explosion that occurred Saturday in an apartment building in Bordeaux, southwestern France. According to local media reports, the incident took place in the Chartres neighborhood. 

The French newspaper Sud Ouest stated that the incident was most likely caused by a gas leak inside a private parking garage, which caused the surrounding building to collapse.

According to the reports, an 89-year-old man was severely injured due to the explosion and was taken immediately to a hospital, while rescue teams are still searching for the missing individuals, including the man's wife.
