Jordan confirms 27 deaths and 1,283 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 27 deaths and 1,283 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 272,797.
The death toll has now risen to 3,545.
The cases are:
- 466 in Irbid, including 42 in Ramtha
- 428 in Amman
- 116 in Mafraq
- 74 in Balqa
- 65 in Aqaba
- 44 in Karak
- 33 in Jerash
- 29 in Ajloun
- 27 in Zarqa
- One in Madaba
- None in Tafilah
- None in Ma'an
A total of 124 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 59 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 30,126 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 2,576 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 239,126.
There are 1,149 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 11,336 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,944,337.
Saturday, 11.32 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
