Jordan records 30 deaths and 2,547 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 30 deaths and 2,547 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 265,024.

The death toll has risen to 3,437.

The cases are:

- 901 in Amman

- 214 in Zarqa

- 131 in Karak

- 70 in Jerash

-39 in Ajloun

-34 in Tafilah

- 808 in Irbid, including 31 in Ramtha

- 153 in Balqa

- 76 in Aqaba

- 54 in Madaba

- 38 in Ma'an, including 16 in Petra

- 29 in Mafraq

A total of 112 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 174 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 35,342 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 3,591 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 226,245.

There are 1,186 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 20,827 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,871,550.

Tuesday, 12.23 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
