Monday on Hayat FM radio, former Investment Minister Mohannad Shehadeh proposed to grant young people subsidized loans to buy apartments for the first time. 

A two percent interest rate on the first JD 50,000 of the price of the apartment would contribute to encouraging young people to become homeowners, said Shehadeh.

He suggested allocating JD 300 million to implement this proposal, stressing that it would contribute to a healthier economy and an increase business within the real estate sector.
