Thursday, a Royal Decree was issued appointing a new head, Feras Al-Hawari, for National Center for Epidemics and Communicable Diseases Control.

The center has a council headed by the Prime Minister and ministers of health, agriculture, water and irrigation, environment, the general director of the Royal Medical Services, and four other experts.
