The Director of Public Security, Major General Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, confirmed the continuation of security campaigns and inspection tours which PSD implemented weeks ago.

During Downtown Amman inspection tours Sunday, Hawatmeh reassured, met and listened to feedback from numerous merchants, noting that security work will continue and will stop any infringement of rights.

He ordered the continuation of inspection tours while directing heads of the security centers and police departments to continue conducting security tours. Security teams will be allocated to markets, ensuring safety of merchants, business owners, and individuals.

Hawatmeh indicated citizens' cooperation in reporting any violations has had a great impact in helping PSD forces and called for continuous cooperation by reporting any available information about crimes, violations or attacks.
