His Majesty extends condolences over the death of Saeb Erekat

His Majesty King Abdullah II extended condolences to the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over the death of Saeb Erekat Tuesday.

The Royal Hashemite Court wrote on Twitter, "His Majesty King Abdullah II, in a phone call, extends condolences to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, over the passing of Saeb Erakat, the secretary general of the Palestine Liberation Organisation and member of the Fatah Central Committee."

Erekat died Tuesday at the age of 65 after testing positive for the coronavirus on Oct. 9.
