227 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at Queen Alia Military Hospital

A total of 227 coronavirus patients are currently receiving treatment at Queen Alia Military Hospital, the hospital's director, Ahmad Khawaldeh told Roya Sunday.

Twenty-four of those patients are on ventilators and eight are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Khawaldeh added.

Khawaldeh said the hospital has a capacity of 572 beds, 472 of which are designated for the confirmed cases of coronavirus, and 100 beds for the suspected cases, noting that 350 out of 572 beds can be used for patients who are in the ICU rooms.

The hospital has 72 ventilators and 62 beds in the ICU.
