One death, 420 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine
Palestine has recorded 420 new COVID-19 cases and one death over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Sunday.
The death involved a 42-year-old citizen in Hebron, al-Kaila added.
The recovery rate stands at 84.6%, while the active cases rate is 14.7%, and the death rate is 0.7%.
The new coronavirus cases included: 86 in Hebron, 87 in Nablus, 30 in Bethlehem, eight in Qalqilya, 33 in Ramallah and Bireh, 448 in Jenin, four in Tubas, 18 in Jericho and Aghwar, two in Salfit, 33 in Tulkarm, 56 in Gaza Strip and 15 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.
The recovery cases involve 156 in Hebron, 18 in Jenin, 17 in Tulkarem, 12 in Tubas, seven in Salfit, 46 in Qalqilya, 193 in Bethlehem, 627 in Ramallah and Bireh and 76 in Gaza Strip.
Currently, 51 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and 13 are on ventilators.
