All samples taken from people who came into close contact with the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) staff members who tested positive for coronavirus came back negative, announced the Assistant Director General of the KHCC for Patient Affairs, Munther Al-Hawarat, on Sunday.

Hawarat told Roya employees will return to work tomorrow and penalties will be imposed on those who do not adhere to the health and safety measures.

Visitors will not be allowed to enter the centre, including people who accompany patients.

The centre will follow-up with the relatives of the employees who tested positive for coronavirus.

Hawarat said there is no truth to the rumours claiming the KHCC is a COVID-19 hotspot in the capital and spoke about the strict preventative procedures implemented at the center.
