‘Fast bus’ project 70% complete

Amman’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) or ‘fast bus’ project is 70% complete, the city's Mayor Yousef Al-Shawarbeh announced on Saturday.

Al-Shawarbeh said work is going according to plan and the main passenger terminal in Sweileh is more than 80% complete, during a visit to the Sweileh District Directorate to inspect the progress of the project.

Some site completions may be delayed due to the coronavirus crisis, he said.

Al-Shawarbeh also inspected the bus lanes in front of the University of Jordan and Sports City intersection.
