The State Minister for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, stated today that Jordan is at a moderate risk level, as the risk is at an acceptable rate compared to the capabilities of the health care system in Jordan.

During a press conference held at the Prime Ministry, Adaileh said that these circumstances push the government to protect these health gains that have been achieved with some sacrifices and efforts that help us move a step closer to return to normal life.

He added that Jordan has been handling the COVID-19 pandemic based on three principles, namely health and social protection, the sustainability of services and economic sectors, and the recovery through measures that support the affected sectors in order to enable them to withstand the corona repercussions and reassure growth and prosperity as soon as conditions permit.

Adaileh pointed out that based on the Defence Order No. (14), the Social Security Corporation (SSC) launched additional programs that support the job and living stability of workers in the tourism and transport sectors, as they are the most affected by the pandemic.
