The Director of Al-Bashir Hospital, Dr. Mahmoud Zureiqat, revealed on Sunday, June 13, that one of the COVID-19 cases recorded yesterday in Alwehdat area of Amman has contracted the virus from an infected cleaner who works at the Hospital.  

After the case was recorded yesterday, the Amman's Governor, Saad Shihab, announced that the building, where the infected lives, was isolated based on the recommendation of the Health Minister, Saad Jaber, so that the inspection teams can examine those who were in contact with the case, Zureiqat stated.

He confirmed that the Hospital's cadres conduct daily sterilization campaigns and employees are being tested regularly. 

Zureikat deplored some bullying campaigns on social media against the infected persons, calling on everyone to take responsibility and provide the necessary support for the infected to overcome this phase and raise their morale. Zureiqat also called on everyone to speak up, report any cases or any contacts.
