Jordan has imported 10,000 electronic bracelets to track the movement of people who are subject to home quarantine.

In press statements on Monday, May 18, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, stated that the programming of the bracelets will be completed today.

"If this proves to be successful, it will be easy to import more of these bracelets," the Minister added.

The government had earlier provided 10,000 electronic bracelets to track those who were obliged to commit to home quarantine after they left the compulsory quarantine.
