Two new coronavirus cases recorded in Irbid, northern Aghwar

One new coronavirus case was recorded today in Irbid governorate and another was confirmed in the northern Aghwar, according to an official media outlet. 

The competent authorities have isolated a residential building in the Bariha area of Irbid and another in the Kuraymah town where the cases were, a medical source said.

The source indicated that the cases are of people who had direct contact with infected persons in Irbid in the past few days. 

The epidemiological inspection teams will test those who were in contact with the infected persons in the two areas that will remain isolated.

According to the source, the number of coronavirus patients receiving treatment at King Abdullah University Hospital has risen to 50 and their general health condition is stable.
