No new coronavirus cases were recorded in the Irbid governorate today, an official said in a statement.

Director of the King Abdullah University Hospital, Mohammad Al-Ghazou, stated that the swabs collected over the past 24 hours came back negative.

The governorate's Director of the Health Affairs Department, Qassem Mayas, said the epidemiological inspection teams will test people who had direct contact with a truck driver infected with the virus.

Based on the results, the Executive Committee of the Crisis Management Cell will look into lifting the three-week lockdown imposed on a local neighborhood, Mayas added.
