Health Minister: Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Jordan today, active cases down to 95

Two new coronavirus cases were confirmed today, bringing the total number of cases to 449, including people who recovered, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced.

During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Jaber said that the infected are a truck driver who was tested at the Jordanian-Saudi borders and a child who contracted the virus from his infected mother receiving treatment at Prince Hamzah Hospital in Amman.

"Five recovery cases were reported today, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 345," the Minister stated.

"Over 2,800 random COVID-19 tests have been conducted today," the Minister said.

A summary of the coronavirus cases in Jordan:
