The Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, has reaffirmed today that a comprehensive curfew will be imposed in the Kingdom tomorrow, April 24.

During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Adaileh confirmed that medical personnel working in the public and private sectors, epidemiological investigation teams and a limited number of employees and officials responsible for the work in some vital institutions are excluded from the full curfew and they will be notified directly by the concerned bodies.

The Minister affirmed that citizens can go out to get their basic needs during Ramadan from 8 am to 6 pm, stressing that permit holders are exempted from the decision.

The working hours for the employees who are authorized to work will be from 10 am to 3 pm during Ramadan.

"The government will make a decision to resume work in some official institutions and departments," Adaileh added.

The Minister said, "We have noticed violations in Karak, Tafila, Aqaba, and Maan governorates after the curfew measures were eased,"

"We warn against exploiting the current conditions in monopolizing and raising prices," he said.
