Four new coronavirus cases were confirmed today, bringing the total number of cases to 401, including people who recovered, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced.

During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, the Minister said that among the infected are three who had direct contact with their infected father in Irbid and a four-year-old child who contracted the virus from his infected mother. 

"15 recovery cases were reported today, of which nine at Prince Hamzah Hospital in Amman and six at King Abdullah University Hospital in Irbid," Jaber confirmed.

A summary of the coronavirus cases in Jordan:

-Total cases: 401
-Cases confirmed today: 4
-Recovered: 250
-Deaths: 7
-Active cases: 144
