40 vehicles seized, 350 people arrested for violating 48-hour curfew

Police impounded a total of 40 vehicles and arrested 350 persons since the 48-hour curfew started on Friday, April 10, at 12 am, the Amman governor, Saad Shihab said today.

Speaking to Roya, Shihab confirmed that citizens are showing great commitment to the curfew orders and that the number of violations reported in Amman is very limited.

Citizens' commitment to the curfew orders was very excellent on Saturday morning, Shihab said, stressing that the violators will be referred to the judiciary.

He stated that the violators will get their seized vehicles based on a decision made by the Prime Minister.
