Health Minister Saad Jaber has ordered relevant authorities in central laboratories to ensure that testing is conducted within the required standards around the clock, especially the COVID-19 tests.

This came during a visit to central laboratories today to look firsthand at the readiness of cadres and the methods of transferring and receiving samples safely for lab testing.

Jaber commended the employees' role and the efforts they exert, conveying the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

During the visit, the Minister was briefed on testing protocol, which involves the use of polymerase chain reaction, a method approved by the World Health Organization.
