Fourth death due to COVID-19 in Jordan confirmed

Jordan has confirmed today the fourth death due to the novel coronavirus, the Ministry of Health announced.

In a tweet on its Twitter official account, the Ministry said that "the deceased is an 81-year-old woman and it's the first death reported in King Hussein University Hospital in Irbid governorate."

The Director of the Hospital, Mohammad Ghazou, said that the woman died as a result of complications from the virus, which caused her severe pneumonia.
