Government officially launches 'mouneh.jo' platform for shopping, delivery services

The government has launched the Mouneh platform (www.mouneh.jo), a lead to companies and licensed applications that provide goods delivery services to homes in all governorates of the Kingdom.

The platform has two main categories, namely smart applications and electronic stores that enable people to order their supplies and get them delivered to their homes and a list of groceries and food stores deployed in the governorates of the Kingdom, which can deliver goods to nearby regions in the neighborhoods, if available.

The platform also includes names and information of applications and electronic stores licensed by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) for home-delivery services.

Any applications that are not on the platform are unlicensed or approved at the present time.

During the coming days, the platform will be evaluated and some mechanisms will be added or stopped according to the latest developments and field experience.

Supermarkets and hypermarkets will be allowed to deliver to homes through their vehicles designated for this purpose, or through licensed companies, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm daily.

Cash payment will be replaced by digital payment soon through a mechanism that will be announced later.

The government has distributed a comprehensive public safety guide to service providers, which will be subject to regular monitoring by specialized teams.

The platform was developed by a voluntary team from the "Arabia Weather" company.
