The cabinet has announced today that the Kingdom will switch to daylight saving time as of midnight on Thursday, March 27.

Clocks are to be set 60 minutes forward on Thursday midnight, making Jordan three hours ahead of GMT.

Under a cabinet decision, clocks are set back one hour to mark the start of wintertime on the last Friday of October every year, while they are set forward one hour on the last Thursday of March every year to mark the start of summertime.
