Before the government's decision to suspend flights from and to Jordan is put into action, the last two planes have landed at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) this evening.

The planes have arrived from the U.S., where all arrivals will be compulsorily quarantined at hotels in Amman, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

The government made this decision as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The decision excludes commercial freight traffic.
