The Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad al-Adaileh, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Tariq al-Hammouri made a visit to Carrefour Jordan, where the citizen infected with coronavirus works.

During the visit, minister Hammouri confirmed the all preventive medical supplies and masks are available in the market.

Earlier today, the Health Minister, along with State Minister for Media Affairs held a press conference at the Prime Ministry building to discuss the latest developments on the coronavirus.

"The government decided to exempt face masks from sales tax, which makes them available at affordable cost," Minister Jaber announced during the conference.

"The Health Ministry will provide the Military Consumer Corporation and Civil Service Consumer Corporation with face masks," the Minister stated.

Minister Jaber confirmed that the disease has not been transmitted to any other citizen so far.

Talking about the Jordanian citizen infected with the virus after he arrived from Italy, the Minister said that all passengers on board the same plane will undergo medical tests.

During the conference, Minister Adaileh warned citizens of rumors related to the virus, confirming that everything is under control and that there's no need to panic.
