A number of family members of Jordanians detained in Saudi Arabia organized a protest in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today.

Protestors said the detainees were held nine months ago, when authorities in Riyadh launched arrest campaign, during which Jordanians and Palestinians were detained without any formal or clear charges.

Families of the detainees handed over a letter to the Foreign Ministry, through which they called for releasing the detainees.

The letter is expected to be handed over to the Saudi Embassy later.
