“Amman is the most expensive destination in the region,” Stefan Pichler, CEO of Royal Jordanian (RJ) stated during a press conference held on Monday, April 1, 2019.

Pichler said that fees and taxes incurred by the incoming and outgoing passengers are higher by 60% than other similar airports.
