His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein stressed in a tweet on Sunday the importance of preserving the sacred national unity, saying:

"Intense pain and great concern, and fear for the homeland and the future of its children. Our hope to survive in our homeland is in preserving our national unity and with positive change.”

HRH added in a second tweet: "If the national fabric disintegrates and the people of the one nation from different origins and sects disagreed, we will lose the homeland and we will fail our nation. We will not be able to defend our causes and will be serving those who want to weaken us to fulfil their our agendas at the expense of our beloved Jordan."
