Tafila: JD 4.5 million worth of infrastructure rehabilitation

Director of Public Works Directorate in Tafila, Ammar Hajjaj, said that the total cost of infrastructure projects being implemented in Tafila, Al-Hasa and Basira are estimated at 4.5 million Jordanian Dinars.

Hajjaj pointed out that there is about 42 projects within the infrastructure’s rehabilitation plan, 13 of which were entirely completed, in addition to 27 projects being under implementation, while the rest are to be initiated soon.

The projects involve several main and sub-roads as well as agricultural streets in various areas of the province. Hajjaj added that the work will also cover installing lighting and ensuring road traffic safety measures.
