King Abdullah receives Iraqi President Barham Salih

His Majesty King Abdullah II received Iraqi President, Barham Salih who arrived in Amman on Thursday, November 15, 2018 on an official visit to the Kingdom.

Upon arrival at Marka Military Airport, the Iraqi President was welcomed in an official ceremony. The two leaders reviewed the guard of honor as a military band played the national anthems of both Jordan and Iraq.

The Iraqi President was also welcomed by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, Senate President Faisal Fayez, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives Atef Tarawneh, as well as other several senior officials and officers who attended the welcoming ceremony.

The Iraqi president was accompanied by a high-level delegation including a number of Iraqi ministers and senior officials.
